Thank you

Today I have withdrawn my candidacy for President of the United States. I hope that my country and my party have benefited from our having made this effort. Jeri and I will always be grateful for the encouragement and friendship of so many wonderful people. [source]

I do not feel like commenting on this right now. But for the Fredheads out there, please enjoy this song from The Everly Brothers. I am sure many of us are "Crying in the Rain."

I wanted to drop by today and send you a virtual hug. I've missed not hearing from you. I understand why but I still miss not hearing from you. My heart goes out to you today. I'm sorry about Fred. I know you supported him. I know we don't agree on the presidential race anymore but we share the same bond in musical taste. Us Rockabilly fans need to stick together.

However if you are anything like me you are depressed. If the shoe was on the other foot I'd feel the same way. ((((hugs for you)))).

God Bless You my friend!

-Brian

Sorry, Red. The handwriting was on the wall after Carolina. I learned a lot from your writing. Hope you turn your talents to the future.

Thank BD, for stopping by. Thanx for the virtual hug, it helps. I was going to respond to your comment right away, except I was headed out the door to go grocery shopping, sorry. It was really kind, for the comment.
I have checked in on your blog on occasion. But since it was mostly about Huckabee, I do not beleive on going to other people's blogs to attack, so I had nothing to say.
Candidates will come and go but, "(Rockabilly) is here to say!".

((hugs)) back atcha. I will be fine. That's why I chose a Rockabilly song for the Thompson send off, and not comment.

Destilando,

Thank you for stopping by. I will be continuing to blog. I will probably change what I write about, maybe more Michigan stuff. If you ever want to give Flint feeds, let me know.

Thanks. I am repulsed by the large amount of people from other camps that have come by to attack my candidate unprovoked. I know that the majority don't do that and I appreciate that you don't as well.

I have learned many things about politics in the past few months. I am planning to write a book on my experiences after this is all over for good or for ill. I think it is time for an average everyday Joe to write a book about politics and the process therein. There are enough professionals out there that have put their thoughts on paper but I have yet to read something from a common man.

YES - ROCKABILLY WILL ALWAYS BE! IT IS HERE TO STAY!
