Interest in Michigan’s Primary has brought another important visitor to our district. U.S. Senator John Thune will be in Marquette at the Landmark Inn on Monday (Jan. 14^th) at 10:30 AM. Senator Thune will be here on behalf of Presidential candidate John McCain. Weather you have made your Presidential selection yet or not please come and hear this important visitor.

Sen. Thune gained national recognition in 2004 when he challenged Senator Tom Daschle, the leader of the Senate Democrats. After another hard-fought Senate race that received intense national attention, Thune prevailed by 4,508 votes sending a message that policy is more important than politics.

I encourage all to come and show our appreciation for what Sen Thune has done for our party nationally!
