I know this ain't Thompson related. But it is Michigan related and I am damn proud that our state is getting national attention now. So I am going to post it nonetheless.
Candidates tour auto show, proclaim support for Michigan workers

- Mitt Romney, John McCain and Mike Huckabee have spent the week leading up to Tuesday's presidential primary vowing to help displaced autoworkers and turn Michigan's moribund economy — and the auto industry — into a national powerhouse again.
- The candidates were bringing their campaigns to the sprawling show during the second day of media events. It opens to the public on Saturday. [more here]
