The reason I am away from my blog is I am working on my blouse I am planning to wear to the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference. Obviously it is not finished. I am taking a quick break after gathering the sleeves. The blouse is satin material made from a 1956 Simplicity Pattern. The skirt is boucle material with black lace sewn in at the factory made from a 2005 pattern. I wanted use material that would give the skirt a vintage look. I will post a pic when it is all finished.
