It's Official!

• Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee Makes it Official
  
  On the computer screen Republican candidate Mike Huckabee explained, “Somehow it escaped us to ever actually officially change the name of the committee over from 'exploratory' to 'election'.”
• And with that, Mike Huckabee announced that his presidential exploratory committee is now officially an election committee. He made the announcement over an internet webcast from his headquarters in Little Rock.
• Later Huckabee explained why he announced online, “We wanted to do something different. No candidate has ever done a 24-hour launch of a major campaign effort that was solely based on the internet using a whole variety of sources. And we thought it would also help us to drive a lot of traffic to the website and bring interest up.”
