There is a guest host on Glenn Beck. Right now they are talking about Mike Huckabee's showing. He is comparing Mike's $58 per vote to Mitty-poo's $440 per vote. This chicky-poo, Leslie Sanchez, he has on does not want to consider Mike Huckabee a top-tier. John Ridley from NPR is calling Mike Huckabee a great guy and that he is sincere and engaging in conversation.
Mike Huckabee, who did not spend money on TV or radio ads nor was barely heard of, coming in second is just proof that there are still Conservatives with common sense. These are the Conservatives who are sick of partisan politics. They are starting to realize that it doesn't matter who has the most money, good looks or name recognition. They have been looking for someone who can get things done. Someone who will work with both sides of the aisle, without compromising his or Americas values. It can be done, and Mike Huckabee is the one who can get it done. They wanted Mike Huckabee, before they knew his name. NOW, they know his name. He can only go up from here.
It reminds me of when people ask a question and ya give them an answer. They ask again, ya give them the same answer, repeat. Now, when the answer is Mike Huckabee they accept the answer, with glee! At the Straw Poll people were asking for buttons, t-shirts and lit. Half-way in the day I had to tell them "sorry but we are out." Everything was just being picked up left and right.

Hey, Larry helped get you to Ames in time to assist Huckabee in pulling off a 2nd place victory! Even if there was a bit of a detour in Gary.

I saw that Leslie person on Glenn Beck as well ... her condescending "wink wink" when the fill-in host mentioned Huckabee being a top-tier candidate was disgusting (and she's a republican!). What did she say, something about "oh yeah, right, I'll let you know when that happens ... wink wink". Disgusting. I think Glenn would have called her out for that if he'd been there.
So glad you were able to get to Iowa for the Straw Poll ... I'm jealous!

I think so too that Glenn would have called her out. Although I have had yelled at Glenn through my TV screen before. Like when he said "where's the candidate who will work for the American people and put aside party bickering", "who simplify the tax system." I yell and say "It's Mike Huckabee, ya dork."
