Am I living in a parallel universe? On all the cable news channels they were talking about Paris Hilton. On FOX News the footage says "Alert." Alert?! Umm, how is this an alert?
If you want to learn more about this read the article in Yahoo. I didn't read the whole article. I got bored after about the first half. Something about she was screaming about "why me" and crying "mommy."

What's really sad is that while the media is having a field day with this, they completely ignored the fact that air traffic along the east coast is STILL backed up because of a computer safety glitch, screwing up countless weekends and business trips AND that the space shuttle launches tonight.
Niel Cavuto had on Buzz Aldrin who pretty much said everyone's stupid.

I saw that also with Buzz Aldrin. I can't believe that even on FOX they made a quick note about the air traffic and went back to talking about LaParee.

The pro-Paris, pro-Rudy McRomney, pro-Fred Thompson media doesn't speak for America.
When Americans find out that Thompson has credibility issues and comes across as more of a mean prick than Hillary Clinton, I think the people are going to realized Mike Huckabee is the best bet for the GOP in 2008.
But we need to give him a strong showing for his 2nd quarter fundraising statistics!

Kevin, thank you for your comment. That is one reason why your "pet project" of Net neutrality is so important. The TV media doesn't give the people all the important stories they deserve. Everyone needs access to the internet, so they can find out what all of what is really going on in their locality, country and world.
