This is U2's rendition of "Baby Please Come Home." This is another of my fave X-Mas songs. I have been trying to find the Ronettes version of the song.
U2 did so much better at covering this song than Mariah Carrey's screeching cat rendition of the Ronette's "All I want for Christmas (is you)." Ya know what? I think it should be against the law for chicks to do covers of Christmas songs. They just mess it up. I am thinking Eartha Kitt's classic "Santa Baby," and Madona's rendition sounding like she is constipated.
